Welcome to the website of St Peter's Primary School, Stockton. St Peter's is a Catholic primary school situated on Newcastle Harbour at the mouth of the Hunter River, drawing students from Stockton, Fern Bay, Seaside, Fullerton Cove and beyond.

Operating under the governance of the Catholic Schools Office in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, St Peter's is a community which values faith and learning for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, welcoming all who are prepared to support the school's Catholic ethos.

The staff at St Peter's are deeply committed to helping students achieve their goals with a strong focus on Catholic identity and the development of the whole person within a structured and nurturing community.

Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, the education offered at St Peter’s is steeped in a strong Catholic tradition. The Mercy values of Spirituality, Community, Service and Social Justice are supported and developed in student learning experiences within the classroom and through involvement in the local community.

Providing a meaningful and inclusive learning program, St Peter's caters for the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical dimensions of all students by delivering strong programs in each Key Learning Area. Curriculum differentiation ensures that the learning is tailored to meet the needs of all students.
